An Hour in Paris | A girl exploring Paris with her camera, 1 metro stop and 1 hour at a time. 🙂
This weeks ‘ An Hour In Paris’ is a photographic exploration of the streets surrounding The Notre Dame.
Emerging onto the streets from the Metro station of Pont Marie, line 7, I first notice the smells of freshly roasting coffee beans drifting from a small artisinal coffee house tucked up a cute alleyway. Wandering around this part of Paris is so calming in this busy city, Your views are constantly blessed with the winding Seine river in front of you and the Notre Dame dominating the skyline. There so many beautiful old doors to spot around here, potentially a post here in it’s self. Across the bridge Louis Philippe on to an island in the middle of Paris; Ile Saint Louis. With the views of the beautiful Parisian houses over looking the Seine. I even spotted some Swans chilling out.
This is the beginning of the latin quarter. Across the other side of the of the island and further into the Latin Quarter are many beautiful cafe’s, shops and streets to wander. Don’t forget to look up.
I finished up at The Tea Caddy, a tea room founded in 1928. There were so many other lovely cafe’s to sample too.
Keep a look out next Wednesday to see where “An Hour in Paris’ will take you….
